The first days that the kids head back to school are the best! Everything is organized and most of the items they need for school are purchased. We remember to pack their lunch each night and make sure everyone is dressed and ready for the bus in the morning.
Then, somewhere along the way, it all falls apart. We’re late waking up and uniforms aren’t washed by the next morning. Dinners consist of whatever leftovers we can heat. I get it. I have a teenager and a kindergartner so I have two different schedules to track. This is why I adore life whenever I can find meal ideas that are simple, inexpensive and quick, like our Weeknight Chicken Parmesan!
Moms, Don’t Skip Your Healthy Lunch
The first thing moms are likely to forget in any situation is themselves. We’re always first to make sure that our kids or significant others eat their lunches and don’t spoil their dinners, but what about us? Stop sitting at your desk with whatever you could scrounge from the vending machine or cupboard! You need a healthy lunch that can keep your day going.
Hillshire Farm® Naturals is an all natural lunchmeat with the delicious taste you want to come back to. It has no artificial ingredients, no nitrates, and it’s 99% fat free and totally gluten free.
I love a quick, easy, and not-at-all messy sandwich with Hillshire Farm® Naturals Slow Roasted Turkey Breast. I add a little freshly ground pepper and alfalfa sprouts. The sprouts add a light crunch to the sandwich and have a ton of health benefits! They provide antioxidants, a ton of vitamin C, can help lower blood glucose levels, and they have high levels of vitamin K and phytoestrogens (ideal for women)!
I like mine on potato bread, but we should be eating on whole grain bread. 🙂
A Quick & Easy Weeknight Dinner With Tyson Chicken Patties
What if you could serve a dinner that looked like it took all day to prepare? Check out this delicious easy and cheesy chicken parmesan dish made with Tyson® Chicken Patties!
This simple, time-saving dish was made with frozen Tyson Chicken Patties! I love using them because it cuts prep time in half and they have no artificial ingredients. The patties are already perfectly sandwich-sized for your dinner needs.
Easy Weeknight Chicken Parmesan
Your family will love the taste of this simple-to-make Chicken Parmesan and you’ll love the time it will save you in the kitchen.
First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Pour a jar of your favorite Marinara in the bottom of a 13×9 casserole dish. Arrange the chicken patties in a single layer on top of the sauce.
Once the oven is heated, bake the Tyson chicken patties in the sauce for 15 minutes. Then, pull the pan from the oven and top the patties with a small handful of a mix of shredded mozzarella and shredded parmesan cheese.
Put back in the oven for 10 minutes. You can also broil for a few minutes to get the cheese bubbly and slightly golden. Serve over your favorite pasta (we use a whole wheat pasta to sneak a little extra healthy benefits in our meal).
The kids actually LOVE this Chicken Parmesan and nobody knows that it started with a few frozen Tyson chicken patties!
Pick up Hillshire Farm® Naturals Slow Roasted Turkey Breast and their other Naturals selections in the refrigerated lunch meat section at Meijer. While you’re there, you can also pick up a bag or two of the Tyson Fully Cooked & Breaded Chicken Patties to make our quick & easy Weeknight Chicken Parmesan!
What a great and delicious dinner idea! My family would love this! {client}
Thank you, Cathy! Who doesn’t love an easy meal when we’re so busy? 🙂
This sounds so very good and simple to make…I could have ingredients on hand to make for unexpected company…
Definitely! I love it because it’s quick and super easy!
can I still put it in the oven for a lil bit if the patties have already been baked and the sauce has been heated?
I don’t see why not. They would be in the oven long enough to reheat the patties and melt the cheese 🙂
