I’ve been posting lately about our experience as one of a handful of bloggers chosen to visit the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. It was such an amazing trip, most of us decided it was too great to fit into just one post. See the post about our visit here.

During our visit, we were lucky enough to interview soccer star Mia Hamm. Hamm played with the United States women’s national soccer team for 17 years and has one of the largest fan bases of any American athlete. She was also the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002 and won Olympic gold medals in 1996 and 2004. She has been a role model for young athletes for years, so she was the perfect person with which to talk during the Nike Young Athletes Innovation Summit.
