I’m ashamed to admit it. Sometimes, instead of heating our daughter’s bottles the “right” way – using a really slow bottle warmer or a pan of hot water – I’ve used warm tap water instead. Ok, yes. I’ve also popped it in the microwave, hoping that if I shake it enough there’ll be no hot spots.
Admit it, moms (and dads, too); you’ve done the same at least once. Especially when they’re first home and you’ve had numerous sleepless nights, you think “the quicker I feed her, the quicker I can get back to bed.”
We were so thankful when we had the opportunity to test the Bib’expresso from Beaba, the makers of the more well-known Babycook. The Bib’expresso makes it possible to prepare a bottle in a few seconds, with just one hand and be certain it is at the perfect temperature for baby. No hot spots, no scalding formula.
The Bib’expresso is a compact, all-in-one baby food preparation center! It features a removable bottle and food warmer that can be used to heat food jars and prepared bottles of breast milk and formula. The bottle storage compartment located on the back of unit doubles as a microwavable bottle sterilizer, holding up to three 10 ounce bottles.
You don’t ever have to worry about scaling on the heating unit inside or germs or bacteria that may grow on it – it features a self-cleaning setting to eliminate any of those issues.
It’s also BPA-free and comes in a subtle Sorbet color so, while it won’t match every decor, it’s likely not to clash too heavily with your decor.
The only issue we had during our testing period is that, when your draining the water from the heating area using the easy to press button, there is a need to lean it forward slightly to ensure that all the water drains from the unit. Considering the multiple benefits of the Bib’expresso, this minor inconvenience is well worth it!
Take a minute to check out the demo video that Beaba has on their website, and you’ll see how easy it is to use. You can purchase the Bib’expresso from major retailers like Amazon for about $130, or directly from the Beaba website.
